happy birthday to me!

This, my dear friends, is a really good sister! Today was my birthday and we went to an auction where we (okay, I) proceeded to purchase just a little too much to fill my little vehicle. This is how my sister rode home, holding two chairs! (Funny, it doesn't look as cramped as it really was...guess you have to imagine me in the driver's seat.) She didn't complain once (well, except when her arms started to fall asleep.) The best sister indeed!

school supply time!

Much to my delight, during a quick trip to Target last night, I spied a pencil-shaped sign, "School Supplies This Way!" My pace quickened as I walked to the back of the store...oh man, I do love the school supplies! It was just 2 little aisles full, but a nice sneak peek of what might be ahead. They had cupcake notebooks, a little glitzy for me, but cute nonetheless.
Something I did love is this "create your own" line. Super-fun, color-in-your-own folders, notebooks, pencil boxes...even kleenex boxes.

i have a confession...

I find it perfectly acceptable for a 40+ year-old to enjoy these movies. (Oh my, this is a great film!)
