from the mouths of 10-yr. olds

Last night I was catching up on some blog reading...my 10-yr. old son walked by and saw this post. He has just started the D.A.R.E. program at school, mind you. He saw the sign pictured in the post and asked what it meant, so after I explained what "weed" was...he pondered and said, "Hmmm, I always thought it was "smoking WHEAT." Yep, that's my little country boy.

(And as a side note, I think her blog is just the bee's knees!)

i do love a good auction!

Guess what I did today!? Went to an auction "in town" (wasn't sure how it would compare with our out-in-the-country sales...)
It was a winner!

Just one word describes the Country Living Fair this year...HOT! (But fun, nonetheless.)

And...a bag that I should've purchased. Don't you just love all that rick rack!?

Picked up some awesome goodies from McMaster & Storm, but their tent was soooo crowded that I wasn't able to snap any photos there. Their stuff is the greatest!

Side note to Country Living...great job on the parking and location this year!
